Intelligent way to ignore subfolders of library?

Hello together,

 

I am currently investigating Emby to switch over from Plex. Unfortunately I am heavily using ignore files within Plex, which seem to work differently with Emby. 

In Emby you can only place a static .ignore file in the directory which ignores everything in and below it. 

 

Is there a way to apply some more dynamic on it? I need a .ignore file in which I can define which subfolders or filetypes I want to ignore as I only want to ignore some parts of it. 

If it is currently not possible to do that, I want to raise a feature request for it.
