Slow navigation Tizen app.

Navigation through my movie library via the Tizen Emby app on my KS8005 is extremely slow. There are 1400 titles. It runs smooth in PLEX.

 

Is there anything I can do to speed it up? It lags a lot.

 

The TVs firmware is running newest update as of today. The app was installed yesterday.

We are currently loading a lot of data at once and this is the reason. It is something we will address in a future update with a virtual scrolling technique.

I wrote this post almost a year ago.

 

The app is still extremely slow when scrolling through media on the Tizen app.

 

It still doesn't seem smooth? When will this be fixed?

Yes, I understand that.

 

I know it's one of the annoying questions when users ask for time estimates, but can you say anything about the time frame?

I guess not. Thought it would be OK to ask since it's been almost a year since we last discussed this. 

 

Oh well...

 

I'll just cancel the Emby Premiere for now and go back to Plex. It's extremely difficult to use the tizen app when it takes so long time to scroll through titles.

when using the guide in the emby app it is very sluggish to respond when scrolling through the rows in the guide. The firetv version of emby is silky smooth. Is this a know issue that will be addressed?
