joshhuggins 22 Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 (edited) Hi all hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have searched all over but can't seem to find a solution. I was surprised that I had not found someone who would have asked for something along these lines already. First thing to note is I use the "Folders" method for my server. Using that method, I have some collections of old TV shows and cartoons that I have stored in a folder for each show. Each episode has it's own .NFO and .JPG file which works great, but I am looking for way so when I view the folder it would show the list of videos in the same view format as a season of a TV show so it has a horizontal image (screenshot, right now they are all distorted into the vertical coverart format) and the overview text to the right. The only way I have found to do this so far is to stuff everything into a season folder which requires another folder to drill down into while browsing. Is there anyway to force a root folder to be viewed like a seasons view without being a season? Library Settings (Server Watching) (Unset mixed content) X:\Family Path to Popeye video example X:\Family\Popeye\Aladdin and His Wonderful Lamp.mp4 Main Menu Popeye folder currently shows like this Is there a way to open directly to a view like this without having to move the videos inside a season folder, and bypassing the "TV Show" info page? Thanks for any info or leads! Edited September 26, 2017 by joshhuggins
Luke 42081 Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 @@joshhuggins - i expect in a future update we will have a toggle that allows you to pick the view you want. Until then you'd have to just wait and use the generic folder layout, or re-organize into a true TV library. thanks. 1
joshhuggins 22 Posted September 26, 2017 Author Posted September 26, 2017 Sounds good Luke, I'll just plug into a season folder for now then. Thanks for the quick reply!
