Possible to delete actor completely?

Hi,

 

is it possible somehow to delete wrong actor entries completely?

I accidently found one actor which is not linked to any movie or tv show I have.

But after deleting the actor's metadata folder I can still find him when searching from the UI.

So how do I get rid of him?

Hi @@Marv, what you would do is remove the actor from the media titles. Let us know if this helps. Thanks !

unfortunately the actor is not present in any media I have. I think I deleted the movie somewhere in the past.

I can only find him by searching.

Ok for now that is a known issue that should only be limited to the search feature. We do not currently clean up those people from the database. It is something we can look at in a future update. Thanks.
