iamspartacus 40 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 (edited) I have real-time monitoring of my folders enabled but I'm not sure how reliable (if it works at all) this is when storage is not local but rather on a network resource. Can anyone attest to this? My storage is attached via NFS shares. Also, how does Emby handle trash removal? Does it do this automatically or does one have to do it manually? If manual, where is this done? Edited September 24, 2017 by iamspartacus
Luke 42087 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 It will work with some network setups but not all. Trash removal is automatic.
iamspartacus 40 Posted September 25, 2017 Author Posted September 25, 2017 How often? And what happens if my network storage is unavailable during trash removal?
Luke 42087 Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 During library scans. Right now it just tries to be smart about whether the whole node is offline or a folder has been removed.
