Luke 42087 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Hi, there's three logs. Which one contains the playback attempt, and at about what time? Thanks.
Happy2Play 9785 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 (edited) The last log shows System.IO.IOException: The network name cannot be found. Edited September 24, 2017 by Happy2Play
Luke 42087 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Thanks @@Happy2Play @@utah-dave looks like you have a networking problem that needs to be resolved.
utah-dave 5 Posted September 25, 2017 Author Posted September 25, 2017 so what I ended up doing is. Formatting the emby media server and reinstalling the system. Now it can find the folders, ( I could never get it to update the correct location hens the err you were seeing tot he network name cannot be found) But it still will not play movies over the web and on the app it will for a short time.
utah-dave 5 Posted September 25, 2017 Author Posted September 25, 2017 also one big thing has changed for me... we use to be able to brows the folders.. do you know how I can get that turned back on?

Are you refering to Folder View? Either enable "Display a folder view to show plain media folders" to add that view (Dashboard-Library-Display), or use Unset/mixed content type to present folder view.
utah-dave 5 Posted September 26, 2017 Author Posted September 26, 2017 yep that was it.. thanks for that one. That is a big one for us!... Thank you very much.
