JulesC 51 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 I'm running the latest version of "Emby Theater for Windows" on the latest version of Windows 10 (not the version from the Windows Store). I'm noticing the Emby process is not ending when I exit "Emby Theater for Windows". As a result, the Emby process hangs. When I try to re-launch the "Emby Theater for Windows" app, it will not load until I go into Windows Task Manager and End the Process. After I do that, the "Emby Theater for Windows" will launch. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue? Thank you 1
JulesC 51 Posted September 26, 2017 Author Posted September 26, 2017 Thanks, Luke. Here is an update. I've downloaded the "Emby Theater for Windows" from the Microsoft Store and installed it on my HTPC. I've been running it for the last couple of days with no issues so far. Hoping this addresses the issue I've been experiencing, but wanted to update you and others with my early learning's in hopes that it helps others.
Guest asrequested Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 I don't know if this will provide any clues, but I have the ac3encode in my conf, and when I play music then press stop, I usually get the electron processes stuck on. If needed I can probably reproduce this and post the theater logs?
Guest asrequested Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 2.8.6 has not improved my issue.
Luke 42078 Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 I can no longer reproduce it, perhaps related to something in your mpv conf?

When I press stop, I can hear the audio break up. Then electron gets stuck.
