unibeta 7 Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 (edited) I can't find a setting to group recordings of the same title into folders. The Kodi VU+ plugin does this automatically and displays the series in a virtual folder from the second recording onwards. Can we do the same with Emby? (TV recording planning runs directly via VU+, not Emby) Greetings from unibeta Edited September 21, 2017 by unibeta
mastrmind11 722 Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 Recordings of the same series/season are already stored in a series/season hierarchy natively. What are you trying to do?
unibeta 7 Posted September 22, 2017 Author Posted September 22, 2017 The VU+ receiver stores all recordings in one directory. The software on both the device and the VU+ plugin of Kodi automatically groups the recordings in the view so that no subdirectories are required.
mastrmind11 722 Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 (edited) Then no, emby relies on a folder structure for identification of series/season. https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/TV-naming Edited September 22, 2017 by mastrmind11
