Ok, I updated to the latest version of Emby Server, 3.2.31.  It did several recordings today, two of which are regular recordings of ABC World News Tonight, followed immediately by my local news.  They are both on the same channel, and there is some overlap because World News records from 17:30-18:00, and my local news records from 18:00-18:30, and Emby is set to do 1 min extra on either side of the recording.

Anyway, around 19:00 I watched the ABC World News recording.  After that was done I stopped it (but did not delete it, something I almost always do) and then began the local news recording.  What, it's the ABC World News Tonight all over again!!  I must have hit the wrong key or something.  So I stopped it, backed all the way out of the client and then went back in and tried again.  It was still ABC World News Tonight!!

Ok, that is weird.  So I go directly to the server drive and look at the recordings in their folders.  There is one in the ABC folder that ended (timestamped) at 18:01.  There is another one in the Action News folder that is timestamped ending at 18:12.  But the recording is not of the local news (which would go to 18:31), it's a full recording of the ABC World News Tonight.

While the files are of the same program, they are of slightly different sizes.  The one in the ABC folder is 780,272 bytes, while the one in the Action News folder is 780,419.

So I ended up with two copies of the ABC World news and nothing of my local news.

I don't believe I have ever had this situation ever happen until today.

Attached are relevant logs.

One other thing ... I saw a report by someone else that CPU usage appears to be higher with this version.  I have noticed that as well, too.  And I am using Nvidia NVENC hardware acceleration.

HI, yes I can reproduce this, thanks. We'll have to get a fix out for it. Thanks.

The latest update fixed the problem. The two news programs recorded correctly this evening.

Thanks!
