ryandavidg 30 Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Was checking the dashboard when someone used the IOS app on this particular device (an older iPhone mostly used as a music player now) and I noticed a couple of unusual issues/errors. Nothing major, just thought I'd point them out. - The app version noted on the dashboard flickers between v1.3 (incorrect) and v1.4.2 (correct) - see below. - It claims to be "Direct playing". I did a double-take on this, as my music collection is all in FLAC and in the past this device always triggered AAC transcoding, so for a moment I though Apple had added FLAC support - they are, but only in the upcoming IOS11 and this phone is still on 10.3.3. Then I noticed that it actually has a red transcoding bar as usual, it just seems the "Direct playing" message is wrong. (The server version is up to date, running on a Win7 machine)
