linds1234 19 Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 (edited) Hi All, This one might be best directed to @@Angelblue05 I use a "Favorite TV Shows" menu in Kodi, which points to the related Emby node through the Add-on. If I add or remove a show as an Emby favorite whilst the Kodi box(es) are on, the change gets reflected instantly. However if any favorites are added or removed whilst the Kodi boxes are off (done via the Emby web interface), the updates don't get synced when they boot up. I take it this info isn't carried across during the fast sync process, and the times that it does work when the boxes are on, is done through the websocket update? Doing a full manual sync though gets the favorites node reflecting correctly. Is it possible to have this node syncing through the fast sync process? Thanks! Edited September 18, 2017 by linds1234
Angelblue05 4132 Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 (edited) I'll have to test. I don't see why it wouldn't be working. Edit: I'm able to reproduce this. But I don't know why it's not working. Favorite is the same event as playstate update... hmm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited September 18, 2017 by Angelblue05
linds1234 19 Posted September 19, 2017 Author Posted September 19, 2017 Hmmm indeed Let me know if I can test anything, pass on snippets from the log etc
Angelblue05 4132 Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 (edited) I've looked into this, but I think I will wait to correct it, because the fast sync plugin is getting replaced (and I believe this is where the issue lies). This will be taken care of once the server api, which will replace the fast sync plugin, is done being implemented. Thank you for your patience. Edited September 22, 2017 by Angelblue05 1
