smartaxel 15 Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Hi guys, I have had what appears to be a similar issue now since I began using Emby last year. I have changed operating systems (Windows 7 originally, then Server 2012) The PC running Emby has a i7 and 8 gigs of ram. After a week to two weeks of using Emby, the machine basically slows to a crawl. I wont be able to view live TV, guide takes forever, or cant view pre-recorded shows. If I do a Ctrl-Alt-Delete, I will see a ton of memory being used by Emby, and a LOT of copies of ffmpeg open. I can buy more memory and upgrade if that seems to be the case, but I question why there are so many copies of ffmpeg running- especially when at this time, I really wasnt viewing on may devices. I have the latest Emby ver 3.2.30. Attached are 3 files. One is a zipped server log because it was huge. Another are the mmpfeg logs pasted into a doc. Finally the last doc has a task manager screenshot showing the ffmpeg copies open and memory usage. This reboot didn't have as many open copies as some will have.
