AFCChris 0 Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Hi there First time post. Running Emby on Synology drive and using Emby Premiere. I have 2 issues which i hope can be easily fixed. Firstly i can't set my recording folder as all the paths i try aren't being found. Any tips on the network path for Synology? I have recordings going to the default folder so it's not a big issue, but the bigger issue is that my recordings are always 2 minutes long. I can't see any setting which would correct this. There was another thread about this but it wasn't really having much info on how it could be fixed Appreciate if anyone could help Cheers!

Luke 42077 Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 I'm sorry, I meant without using the recording feature. In this example you have it turned on, so I would try turning it off.

Also i had some success but the last one i tried didn't work again so i attach the server log. Search for BATE as it's in the name of the recording (football match Bate Borisov and Arsenal). Any sort of general pointers about why it's not working and best practice? Maybe its due to someone switching to their user session on the mac? Emby runs on a Synology drive so it should be ok really... server log 29th sep.rtf
Luke 42077 Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 I don't see an obvious problem here, but then again the rtf file is difficult to search. plain text .txt would be easier, but I didn't see any obvious errors. Is it possible someone shutdown the server in the middle of the recording?

No one is shutting down the server but i am new to emby and maybe there is some stuff going on which i don't know about and that i have to tweak. let me do more recordings and i'll send the server log in plain text next time
