Update ServerWMC

I am running build version 1247 but today I got a notification in Emby Server that an update is available. ServerWMC's website states that 1247 is the latest beta release. What gives?

Remember that there are two parts to ServerWMC, the plugin and the external software, and they each are updated independently.

True. Is there a changelog on the update to the plugin? Everything seems to be working fine right now.

But in this case, even my ServerWMC service / plugin shows it is up to date?

Under external services the update information only obtains to the server wmc software. However, if that's not self-explanatory then we've already failed and perhaps we should just not show it anymore and let you do that with the standalone serverwmc software.

 

Plugin updates are handled like any other plugin update in emby server.

Its the plugin I updated today, not the backend.  The only thing it changes is it sets the ignoreDTS flag that Luke provided a while back.  I really doubt you will notice any change.

 

The new plugin update is 1.0.0.83

Before I update, I just like to see what is being updated and if there's reported problems, especially when everything is going well with Emby.
