Emby on tvOS 11

Is anyone running Emby successfully on tvOS 11? It drops back to the main appletv menu when I select the user. I’ve tried rebooting, uninstalling and reinstalling the app and even a factory reset.

I've been running on the beta since it was released and haven't experienced this. I assume you're using the GM version of tvOS 11?

Yes, running the GM.

One last question. Are you running the new beta version of Emby (the one with Live TV support)?

 

I'll see if I can get the GM version up and running tonight and test it as well.

I loaded up the GM tvOS 11 on both my physical Apple TV and the tvOS Simulator on my Mac and I'm not seeing any problems, particularly the one you're having. Would you mind following the steps here to post a server log please?

I figured it out, I had a feeling it might have had something to do with my username which had spaces and an ampersand in it, i changed it on the server to remove the ampersand and the appletv connects fine now. The username was "Example & Example", i changed it to just a single word.
