Sireone 6 Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 I'm in the middle of hurricane Irma with power and no Internet only to find out that my mobile device can no longer connect to my Emby server locally. I can connect to the web interface, but not via the Android app. Does Emby require you to have an active Internet connection in order to connect locally? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
Happy2Play 9783 Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 From my understanding the app has to running and authenticated via internet to work. So the app has to remain open and then can work for up to a week without internet. But I @@ebr or @@Luke can clarify this further.
Luke 42085 Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 No, the app does not require internet access, although you'll have to do a manual sign in instead of Emby Connect. Where exactly are you getting stuck?
