Problems decoding .ts (transort stream)

Hi - I do have problems with decoding .ts files (which are recorded with an enigma2 box). I can play them with 

the enigma box without problems, but using emby the video never starts. 

 

In the log I can see

 

 

 

[h264 @ 0x80a4f0120] non-existing PPS 0 referenced

    Last message repeated 1 times

[h264 @ 0x80a4f0120] decode_slice_header error

[h264 @ 0x80a4f0120] no frame!

[h264 @ 0x80a4f0120] non-existing PPS 0 referenced

 

 

maybe somebody has an idea what to do in that case ?

Looks like you have a 2 year old version of ffmpeg installed. I would try updating that. Let us know if this helps. Thanks !

Hmm I am using the emby plugin. So this can only be done by the maintainer, right ?

@@cherup, is this freenas or freebsd? If it is freebsd you can just do 

pkg upgrade

if you have an enigma tv tuner then we have a better way of using that with Emby. Now with OpenVix you can add your enigma tuner directly to Emby using Emby's native support. No VU+ plugin needed.
