There was an error deleting the item from Emby server

I get this error quite a bit if I try and use Emby Theater (or Android mobile for that matter) to delete a media file or folder.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.  The permissions on the library folders allows full access to the user account the server service runs under.

 

The attached log file shows me trying to delete a live TV recording, KRON4 news, after it has finished recording.

 

Edit:  tried to delete the TV folder using windows explorer, Emby server has a hold of it, probably metadata scraping, which is set to scan folders immediately.

 

Shouldn't a delete operation tell the metadata scraper, and the server in general, to let go of the folder?
