Android 8 ChromeCast discovery

Since I updated to Android 8, Emby has not been able to discover my Chromecasts.

 

I have tried:

Re-installing Emby,

Clear data.

Clear cache.

Reboot Chromecast

etc.

 

Other devices are discovered just fine.

 

Other apps, including the system see the Chromecasts. 

Emby running on older versions of Android also see the Chromecasts.

I imagine that Emby must be using some unconventional Chromecast discovery, that is not supported by Android 8.

Sadly I'm having the same issue. I'll use Plex until it gets worked out.

Verified with mine and my wife's phones. Nothing on the server side, all client/app.

I'm having the same issue with the mobile app. Using the webpage from a mobile browser works fine. OS hasn't been officially released yet has it? I don't blame the developers for this issue with a new OS.

 

Kodi appears fine, as well as the Chrome browser casting to webpage from mobile client.

 

Webpage actually seems to run a bit faster for me also.
