ShoutingMan 101 Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Regarding Theme Songs: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Theme%20songs%20&%20videos What are the valid audio formats? I too a blu-ray, found the MKV with the background video loop, and exported audio into an MKA file (with MKVtoolnix), and put it in a theme-music folder in the movie's folder. The music doesn't play. Do I need to convert the MKA to a different format like MP3 or MP4? Thanks
Luke 42078 Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I thought we had mka supported but yes try mp3
ShoutingMan 101 Posted September 16, 2017 Author Posted September 16, 2017 I thought we had mka supported but yes try mp3 MKA not supported in Emby 2.8.4 on Windows 10. MP3 works. (Now I need a tool to convert multi-channel MKA to MP3.)
Luke 42078 Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 We'll add mka for the next release, thanks. 1
ShoutingMan 101 Posted September 23, 2017 Author Posted September 23, 2017 ET now plays MKA theme music! Thanks! But, it's only in stereo. Not in multi-channel / surround / etc. It's a minor detail, but if you can slip it in sometime that would be cool.
greenhouse 2 Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 I have the option for theme music turned on, but it doesn't work for me. I don't see the theme music file in any of my folders either, so they are not being automatically downloaded. Do I have to download the theme music myself and put it in the appropriate move folder?

Yes, you can learn how to organize them here: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Theme%20songs%20&%20videos Thanks.

I don't think they are automatically loaded by Emby. I've created all my theme music myself, manually populating folders as I get audio clips.
