WhiteGuyTranslating 2 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Windows phone 8 on a Nokia Lumia 520. When I enter a folder I can't back out. It takes me to the winows panel everytime. This means I can't change users or view other folders at all. I have not found a soft button yet so I am using the hard key for navigating backwards.
Logos302 86 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 you should just be able to hit your back button to up a folder. sounds like your hitting the Microsoft/windows button.
WhiteGuyTranslating 2 Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 Unfortunately no, I'm not that inept with winphone8. it's like the functionality isn't there, but I'm sure it is because it works on my androids. it's like the Nokia is not doing what it should be doing. Since I'm new to Windows I was hoping there was a setting in apps I missed or was zoomed in on the app to much.
ScottIsAFool 517 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 No, tapping the back button from within a collection should take you back to the home screen. When you have this happen, are you able to tap the tile to get to the main screen again? If so, can you then tap the app bar, go to about, then logs, then email me the logs, that will help me work out what's going on with it.
