Launch Android Apps

One of the main issues keeping me using Kodi as my primary Emby frontend on the Shield is the ability to use Kodi as the main launcher. Specifically, the ability to launch apps such as Netflix, Amazon, MLB.tv, etc, without having to back out to the Leanback Launcher is very important for household usability.

 

Is there any potential to add this option to the Android TV/Fire TV apps?
