Automatic download of series episodes isn't working anymore

I use the android app mainly to download episodes of tv series to my android smartphone to watch them offline.

 

I created the download tasks like this:

 

On series level (not season or episode) I clicked on "download", set quality to "original", ticked the two options ("download only unseen episodes" and "automatically download new files") and set the max number of downloads to 2.

 

If I do this, the next two unseen episodes are downloaded to the device. But if I later mark one of them as "watched", this episode is removed from the device, but no new episode is downloaded. This worked before, but does not work anymore for some weeks now. And if the second episode is marked as "watched" too, not only the downloaded file is removed from the device, the complete download task is deleted.

 

Is this a bug or expected behavior? I hope it is a bug and will be fixed soon :-)

The problem is gone. Download works as expected again.
