PoBear 19 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 (edited) Hi I have two sets of libraries on my system a "live" set that has movies, complete TV series and one-off programmes, I also have a "test" library containing incomplete TV Series and one-off programmes awaiting metadata. Is there any way to accommodate both sets of libraries in MB3 and MB Classic? I am running two machines, one with server and MBC and my HTPC machine which has only MBC. I store metadata in the programme folders, Ideally what I am looking for is both "live" and "test" viewable on server machine but only "live" libraries viewable on HTPC. With the old system I had two separate installs of MB2 with different libraries defined, but under MB3 everything has to be defined to Server and I can't see anything that limits the view on MBC. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Edited February 25, 2014 by PoBear
ebr 16169 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Create two user profiles. Use one on the server and the other one on MBC.
PoBear 19 Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 Sorry I've looked at the settings for a new user and I can't see anything that restricts access to content, can you point me in the right direction. According to the tutorial pages the User Profiles page has tabs for Profile, Image, Password and Media Library, but my installed version has Users with tabs for Profile, Image, Parental Controls, Password, and Preferences. Thanks
