bla8291 1 Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Sorry if I've posted this to wrong section, since this is really a Chromecast issue, but it seems like all the other Chromecast posts are here. I was trying to cast a channel to my Chromecast Ultra, and any channel I select plays successfully, but it stops after 8 seconds. The video freezes for a few seconds with no audio, and then changes to a black screen and pauses. If I press play, or try to seek, nothing happens. However, when I cast to my SHIELD, it keeps playing, but still with a small and negligible skip at 8 seconds. I have tried the following: - Check for server updates and restart. Updated from 3.2.27.0 to 3.2.28.0 - Check Emby for Android app for updates. Already up-to-date - Reboot server. - Reboot Chromecast. - Play video directly on my phone.
