Strange playback issues

Hi All,

 

I have a strange playback issue.  Been gone a few days, and the wife tells me that some movies are not playing, but all recorded TV is fine.

 

I checked playback with Amazon FireTV, Nvidia Shield, Chrome, and Emby Theater.

 

Seems that all MKV files playback fine on all devices, but DVD/Blu-Ray direct playing no longer works, just brings up the background image, then nothing.  On the FireTV and Nvidia Shield, I did see the notice 'Too many errors'.  All files are stored on an unRAID device, and no updates have been applied to it in over 20 days.

 

Anyone experienced/experiencing similar issues?

This is resolved for the next release of Emby Server, however keep in mind that transcoding of folder rip structures is something we only consider experimental. For the best possible experience consider converting to plain video files. Thanks !
