kcprophecy 3 Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Hey all, I am hoping somebody can help me with an issue that I feel like was working just fine at one point but after at least version 3.2.25.0 has now become a problem. Currently all multi episode files are only listing the first episode in the name. The naming scheme used is the following: Show Name.S01E01E02.Episode Name(s) For testing I renamed one of my series so that it reflected the naming convention outlined in the Emby Wiki, so removed the periods and added spaces: PJ Masks S01E01E02 Blame It on the Train, Owlette + Catboy's Cloudy Crisis.mp4 Episodes are still showing up as a single episode though. Am I missing something? I've done several rescans but still nothing.
Luke 42085 Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 I think it is just a display issue with the new vertical episodes list. i think that was just inadvertently forgotten while designing the new screen. thanks.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 I think it is just a display issue with the new vertical episodes list. i think that was just inadvertently forgotten while designing the new screen. thanks. I would have to test that naming convention specifically, but multi episodes do work.
kcprophecy 3 Posted August 24, 2017 Author Posted August 24, 2017 Hey Luke, Happy2Play, thanks for the quick response. What naming convention are you using Happy? I would like to give it a try. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
paulsalter 84 Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 This is how mine are named for multi episodes Hope it helps
Deathsquirrel 745 Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Hey Luke, Happy2Play, thanks for the quick response. What naming convention are you using Happy? I would like to give it a try. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk Mine are named like this and work: Star Trek The Next Generation S07E25-26 All Good Things....mkv The UI shows that as: "25-26. All Good Things... (1), All Good Things... (2)" with descriptions for both episodes.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Hey Luke, Happy2Play, thanks for the quick response. What naming convention are you using Happy? I would like to give it a try. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk My naming convention is "Halt and Catch Fire.S04E01-E02". I tested "S01E01E02" and it worked fine also.
kcprophecy 3 Posted August 24, 2017 Author Posted August 24, 2017 Thank you all for the responses and trying to help me out... I am still not having any luck with this though. I have only tried Happy's naming convention since it's close to what I already have but it just isn't working. I have moved the directory out, scanned, re-added the directory, and scanned again but no luck. If it makes any difference I am running Emby on Ubuntu 16.04. Luke, if a log would be of any benefit I can provide that too, just let me know, thanks.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 You would need to provide a server log this showing these action. Also can you show the information from the nfo file also.
kcprophecy 3 Posted August 25, 2017 Author Posted August 25, 2017 Of course this resolved itself when I went to create a fresh debug log. It took a few remove and re-adds with scans in between to get it to display properly, but it did! Will try to set the file names back to how they were at some point to see if I can get that working but I am good for now. Thanks again for the help all.
