For some reason both emby and ember are freezing exactly at the next chapter point every time. It never fails. Is anyone else experiencing this? I will be happy to post any logs you need. Thanks!

Which versions of ET and Ember are you running? Make sure you're running the latest betas. What version Emby server?
Scott310 137 Posted July 12, 2017 Author Posted July 12, 2017 My Server version is Version 3.2.24.0. I updated both Ember and Emby before using them. I had this issue before I moved and when I set up my xbox in my new house I still had the issue. Before I attempted to use ember or emby, I updated both of them from the store.
CBers 7450 Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 Which version of Ember is it, as the latest beta (v4.4.266) seems to be running OK. To find out the version, you can highlight it and press both bumpers and menu buttons together.

Scott310 137 Posted July 12, 2017 Author Posted July 12, 2017 I just went to the store and did another update. Now it's version 4.4.255. I tested the same movie and it stopped again at exactly 4 minutes where the end of the first chapter is.

Scott310 137 Posted July 14, 2017 Author Posted July 14, 2017 Here is a link to a 6 minute clip from a movie. The first chapter break is at 4:00. After I made this clip I tested it in Emby. It worked a few times and froze once. I tried the clip several times in Ember and it froze every time. Also all of these files used to play perfectly and without error for quite some time. So I decided to go to Emby and play the movie in the exact same spot to see what happens. Below is a video of what I saw. Emby Managed to make it past the error but you can see in the video what happens. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8PF3WWw7dsbY2R2OHFvV0d3RmM/view I tried it again after that and filmed it as well but I think its easier to just tell you that it froze but the audio kept going and when the video came back to life the audio and video were out of sync. I think its important to note that all of my movies play perfectly through emby chromecast, DLNA, Roku, and fire TV. the only issue I am having is with Ember and Emby for XBOX One. It has become unwatchable...

Scott310 137 Posted July 14, 2017 Author Posted July 14, 2017 I don't really know. My only PC us also my server. On the PC I use the windows download version if emby theater not the UWP version. I have used the UWP version in the past on my PC and never had any problems with it.

Scott310 137 Posted July 14, 2017 Author Posted July 14, 2017 I'm not sure if this helps but I noticed that even after ember freezes the clock in the server dashboard keeps ticking away as though the movie is still playing. And I know ember isn't in a total freeze or crash cause the little loading dots keep going across the screen.

Just played your Star Wars sample in both ET and Ember without issue, but I did get a buzzing sound at the end in ET. In ET, it got to the end, but then jumped back a minute or so! The Emby dashboard shows it remuxing DTS to AAC (that still needs fixing Luke!), but it had a runtime of 7min 30secs when I stopped it due to it jumping back. 1

The larger file had 4 chapter markers and neither app froze when it got to them Server running Windows 10.15063.413 Pro , Emby Version 3.2.25.3 beta Xbox One is running the most current public release 10.0.15063.4082 Emby UWP 1.1.138 Ember UWP 4.4.264 I heard the buzzing sound also in the one video using VLC, so think it's the video
