Teddy 100 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Since I installed the new version of my server have disappeared backdrops. The number of backdrops I had was 6, but after the update only shows me 2. I deleted the cache directory server all jpg and png and have refresh the metadata but still appear just 2 backdrops per movie. Is there any way to keep I had my 6 backdrops for each movie?I have read with new server I could need to enter them by hand but for nearly 4000 films would be a very hard task and I read too if only 1 backdrop exists then the server doesn't download new backdrops but I said, I already delete every backdrop jpg png before to fetching again. If not solution to this, is there any repository to install the prior server code? Cheers
Guest jbotwood Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I've just done a fresh install of MB3 3.0.5168.16132 on a totally new formatted installation of Windows 8.1 and deleted all of my metadata before setting it off scanning - to start with my entire movie library consisted of folders with single ISO files in each folder and every single folder had been correctly identified by my old MB3 installation. It's still scanning my library but is only downloading 2 backdrops per movie. I have set Maximum number of backdrops to 99. Prior to this clean install and metadata refresh many of my movies had downloaded 10, 20 or even 30 or more backdrops. OK there was quite a lot of image duplication but I would consider that better than what seems to now be a (maybe a bug?) hard-coded limit of 2 backdrops. On quite a few movies these two backdrops are the same image but just a different file size so maybe it's just retrieving one backdrop per Metadata downloader and ignoring the Maximum number of backdrops setting?
