Deathsquirrel 745 Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 (edited) So I have unchecked Save artwork and metadata into media folders. I want this to live on my SSD now for speed. Previously I was saving in with the media. I could go through the media (movies are on own drives) and delete all the fanart, etc and just leave the folders with the movies in them. Is that correct? If so, can you think of any easy way to do that? I'd like to free up some space on those drives since the data will be duplicate now. The option to save, or not, metadata with your media has no impact on where the server stores its cached copy of that metadata. That function is for storing a copy of the metadata with the media so future scans during things like server rebuilds won't have to pull everything from the internet again. Either way the server builds a cache of pics and nfo files that are actually served out to the clients. Edited September 27, 2017 by Deathsquirrel
