zigzagtshirt 55 Posted August 15, 2017 Posted August 15, 2017 (edited) Thanks @@Luke ! This has been going on for a while but I just not got around to reporting it (sorry) Am I not the only one? billzkid 1 Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 It started happening to me also around 14th of august ... didn't add any new media to download to device thou i have some old synced files
Sammy 790 Posted August 22, 2017 Author Posted August 22, 2017 It's being looked into, thanks! Any updates on the root cause? Thanks.
Sammy 790 Posted August 22, 2017 Author Posted August 22, 2017 Configuration Backup failed. 5 hours ago There is not enough space on the disk. This showed up today in the notifications. I have 110Gb available on my backup drive so am not sure why this would occur. Emby Log 20170822.txt

Sammy 790 Posted August 22, 2017 Author Posted August 22, 2017 (edited) I'm not sure what to say but here's screen shots of the The Health of my HDD's, the Percent used of my HDD's and Emby Backup Configuration. Drive D is 4Tb and has the back up location and it is also the RecordedTV drive for WMC. Edited August 22, 2017 by Sammy

Luke 42078 Posted August 22, 2017 Posted August 22, 2017 @@Sammy I've merged your topics. The .net framework thinks your disc is out of space and therefore that is causing a number of things within Emby Server to fail. 1
Sammy 790 Posted August 22, 2017 Author Posted August 22, 2017 Thanks Luke. So these errors are related. Is there something that needs attention on my side? It seems my drives have enough space and that they are healthy.
Luke 42078 Posted August 22, 2017 Posted August 22, 2017 Try deleting unused files, clearing your recycle bin, etc. If the issue persists consider running hardware diagnostics to check for a possible drive failure. 1
Sammy 790 Posted August 22, 2017 Author Posted August 22, 2017 @@Luke @@ebr I will do further diagnostics to rule in/out my system from these errors.
Sammy 790 Posted August 23, 2017 Author Posted August 23, 2017 What is a good free drive diagnostic tool? Chkdisc? Driver Manager shows them to be healthy and Defrag shows 0% defrag on all but the C:/ drive, BTW
Sammy 790 Posted August 24, 2017 Author Posted August 24, 2017 My C: and D: drives checked out okay. I didn't check H: or J: as Emby Server doesn't run on them or save the configuration backup on them. They are merely storage drives as is D: for the most part.
Sammy 790 Posted August 24, 2017 Author Posted August 24, 2017 Checking the Emby Notifications Log, the Configuration Backup Failed error hasn't occurred again but the Convert Media Failed error appears every three hours.
ebr 16176 Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Do you have any drive compression or encryption software in the middle?
Sammy 790 Posted August 24, 2017 Author Posted August 24, 2017 Do you have any drive compression or encryption software in the middle?None that I set up but I'll look to see if I have that checked in drive properties. This did just start occurring recently and I haven't made any changes to my drive properties. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
Sammy 790 Posted August 29, 2017 Author Posted August 29, 2017 I still get the Convert Media Failed error.
