edd-- 2 Posted August 22, 2017 Posted August 22, 2017 Hi, I always get out of sync subtitles after resuming or when I do fast forward or rewind. This happens on IOS and safari on OSX. Chrome doesn’t seem to have issues with that. Is this a known bug? I mainly use .srt files ... Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
edd-- 2 Posted August 22, 2017 Author Posted August 22, 2017 What device and version of iOS? iOS 11 Beta 7 iPhone 7 Emby 1.4.1(12) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
pwhodges 2012 Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 (edited) I often get the same when using the iOS client where there's a poor signal. There may be a glitch in the audio and video (e.g. the shorts jumps issue), but the player doesn't adjust for the delay that the glitch caused, and not compensating for it in displaying the subtitle stream means the subs (effectively) get further and further ahead. The only way to get it back in sync is to kill the client, restart, and jump back to continue from where it got too bad to tolerate. Edited January 18, 2018 by pwhodges
Luke 42077 Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 I can't reproduce any problems in the mobile app, but nonetheless the next version of the app will have an all-new video player that will improve the playback experience considerably: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/57242-150-new-video-player/ Thanks.
Luke 42077 Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 Emby for iOS 1.5 has been released with the new video player, wake on lan, and more. Enjoy.
