vertical grid only

i dont use emby for a few moths and was curios to know if is the vertical grid still the only option to browse the movie library on shield tv, same question goes for TV Shows

The grids in Android TV are still horizontal. The reasoning for this is scattered throughout this forum and I think you are already aware .

 

Vertical may still become an option in the future but it has some real drawbacks - especially with mixed width content.

ok thanks for you help, i have one more question it have nothing to do with the original post but maybe you can help me, i download all my meta data for my movies, music and tvshows with 3party software, what would be the best way to add movies to the library without emby doing anything to the library and i mean nothing
