Access to NAS when running Emby as Service

Hello,

I've always been running Emby as service, and had no problems.

Just as of recently, must be couple of days, Emby stopped adding new media as I added it to the folder on the NAS.

So I started troubleshooting, and found out that it doesn't refresh as service any more. If I run Emby as a program, all is well.

I discovered also that if I run it as a service, I also can't add a library with the \\server\sharename UNC path. If I run it as a program, I can.

Permissions on the NAS did not change, I still have user MediaServer on my NAS as Read, as I think that was a requirement, I don't know if it still is.

Service is running as the local system account, and I believe it always has been.

As I said, apart from normal Windows Updates, I don't think anything changed.

What's going on?

Thanks

Please post a server log.

But my only guess would be be permissions.

I can post the log when back at the computer.

However, most likely permissions, that much is clear.

And I believe it has something to do with some W10 update.

I hoped for some similar experiences as of recently, because it would be funny if I were the only one with the problem.

Probably due to a Windows 10 update. Search the community as there have been similar examples.
