Skelet0r 0 Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 (edited) Hi there I just recently installed emby and found out that "Season X" is displayed like the dirname in the web app. For example my dir structure is like that "Show.Name/Season.01/Show.Name.S01E01.ext. Now when I browse my shows and I click on a show I see the different seasons presented but the are not labeled "Season 1" "Season 2" and so on but "Season.01" "Season02", so the literal dir name is displayed instead of a "human readable form" like with the Show name and episode titles. Screenshot attached for clarification. Edit: Screenshot upload did not work, here is an imgur link PYHAn8S.png Edited August 20, 2017 by Skelet0r
Luke 42077 Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Yes this is what we currently do. Changing this is a possibility for the future, thanks.

Should be changed, what if its in another language? You do not display the raw filenames anywhere else either. (imho) Edited August 20, 2017 by Skelet0r
bfir3 117 Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 I'm pretty shocked to find out these labels come from the dir name, which doesn't really make any sense. What does it do for episodes in the root that aren't sorted in a Season folder? Or for episodes that are saved in the wrong season folder? I feel like Emby should just have data for the episodes and should know to display the correct season items.
Luke 42077 Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 It's already updated for the next release, thanks.
