How do I use emby

Can you use the emby add on to watch movies and tv series? I could not figure out how to use it

Yes you can but you must provide your own media. Emby does not provide any content, only the means to view it.

I have downloaded the server and worked out how to ad plug ins. I have added the IPTV plug in. I, in theory, think I now how to add channel streams (looks straightforward) but I can't, even after restarting, get anything to work. I have tried plenty of ones that are supposed to be current and active. What am I missing? Where I am going wrong? This is the same on the laptop with the server and the roku attached.
