How about a button on the movie side to randomly pick a movie out of your library to play? This could have a "yes play" or "no don't play" answer, and could have an option to include watched movies in the search.

What I mean is that a randomizer should have the option not starting Iron Man 3 if I haven't seen Iron Man 2 before (just an example!) ... It should then start the first unseen movie in the collection ...

I would say don't over think it (you know K.I.S.S.). If you have not watched Iron Man 1 yet answer "no don't paly" and randomize again.

I was thinking the other day it would be nice to have a 'random' sort by option that gives you a new randomized sort order every time you open the library and/or change the sort order.

 

That would make it alot easier to explore a huge movie/tv library
