Fail to play video with ASS subtitle

When play the video, default subtitle cannot be shown successfully. but it does work if using SRT subtitle.

I play the emby web directly, but cannot use ass subtitle

If you go into web app settings - subtitles, there is a burn subtitles option. Set that to burn all complex formats and then the server will do it with transcoding. Let me know if that helps. Thanks.

Tried but CPU loading have big jump to >90%, and keep loading with black screen.

Found out many message just like "Glyph 0x80B2 not found, selecting one more font for (Arial, 700, 0)" in transcode file.

Yes when they are burned in cpu usage will be heavy. Have you considered acquiring plain text subtitles using our open subtitles downloading feature?

Tried but no available language. Should it be normal having many "Glyph 0x80B2 not found" message?

No it shouldn't be and i suspect these particular subtitles might have something that ffmpeg doesn't support. Or more specifically, libass within ffmpeg.
