MKV file stutter - slow and accelerated play

Ive recently noticed that some of my MKV files are struggling to play through emby. i get normal play then a bit of slow speed play where the voice skips a bit and then the video accelerates a bit.

not sure if this is some sort of codec issue?

thanks

I discovered the same issue since the last few updates, dont know where its coming from actually, i think this is mono related!

Its a bit hard to record actually because it only happens sometimes, at least for me. I will try to do a report.

But what i have to say is that with the last 2 updates, it got a bit better again!

Thanks for the feedback although that kind of variance is probably environment specific and not related to the update. But I am glad to hear it's working well.

Try dropping the web app quality setting low enough to force a full video transcode. that should resolve it.

This video is on the server itself and the client is on the server and the video used to stream perfectly regardless.

I can play the video fine in VLC.

The audio seems to crack up and speed up / slow down and has become rather annoying.

Thanks

Here is a link to the video i made. You can here the audio crack up and almost sounds stretched out.

Attached are also my latest log files.

I decreased the stream to 720p 1mb/s and this still doesnt do anything.

Hi, shutting down the server and deleting this folder:

C:\Users\Media\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\ffmpeg\20160410

Then start it back up. Let us know if that helps. Thanks !
