Poster and Thumbs Not Showing on Home Page

I first noticed it in 3.2.26.0 but it was just before 3.2.27.0 was released so I didn't have time to report it then I updated to 3.2.27.0 last night and it is still there.

On the home page after signing in to the web client - but only with Firefox for some reason, Chrome seems fine - images with a horizontal dimension less than 900 pixels (thumbs and posters included) show a blank image - not the broken image I would expect if something were actually wrong with the picture. It just isn't there. When I go into the movie or video the poster is painted just fine, but when I go into Edit Images the poster box is again simply blank though Emby appears to show SOMETHING is there, even the dimensions of the image, it just never paints it.

I have the same issue with the latest update. It also seems a bit slow with images overall.

Hi Luke, sorry I didn't reply to your message, but I was on vacation. Anyway I'm not sure what I could say about this except that loading images, especially user profile pics on the server login page was extremely slow compared to previous versions.

Anyway, the latest version fixed this particular problem, though it seems to have introduced something worse. I will post a separate thread about that.

On what client?  Most of the time when I see this in the web client all I do is clear the browser cache and it resolve the issue.

So the problem I observed was that, on server startup, the profile logon images took a very long time to load (2-3 minutes). This was the case on every client.

During this time the server was unresponsive, suggesting that the issue related to server start and not just image views.

In any case a recent update eliminated the delay.
