Emby for Kodi - Active recordings

Any way to add a node that Kodi can pick up that would list what is actively being recorded via Live TV so it can be displayed via a widget or something like the web interface does?

As it works already via dashboard.

The only backend which supports this feature ootb is TvHeadend.

It's something I can add. Just for display purpose, right? Also, everything related to Kodi, please post directly in the Kodi section of this forums. I didn't see this FR til today.

Yep, just to know what’s recording is all I’m after, at least until that teased full on PVR client is ready

The indication of currently running records is already done.

 

Would it also be possible to start these ongoing records?

 

This is a feature what I am asking for for a long time in the kodi pvr section.

Not from Emby with Kodi. But an emby-kodi pvr solution is in the works.
