Elegant 11 Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 (edited) Hi, I'm looking for a way to have Emby for Kodi ignore the Optional Network Share without emptying the field. I currently have both Linux and Windows machines using Emby and have a situation where all Linux machines work if the Optional Network Share is empty and all Windows machines work if it is entered. Linux uses NFS which is mounted identical to the way Emby is mounted (same path) hence the desire to ignore the Optional Network Share under Linux. I am having great difficulties getting SMB to work and feel that this might be a better solution. Would it be possible to add an option to Emby for Kodi to allow us to ignore the option specified in Emby or is this something handled by Emby itself and you cannot control which path you receive? I've reviewed the code but have not found a particular instance where you can designate the network share or the regular path. Edited August 17, 2017 by Elegant
Angelblue05 4132 Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 The path is provided by Emby, we have no control over this. The add-on has no awareness of this setting.
