draje 9 Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 Can anyone shed some insight on how to compile the Emby for Android app? I'm not familiar with Cordova. I'm trying to compile version 2.8.54 as found here: https://github.com/hatharry/emby-android
Krysstof 0 Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 for cordova, it's a node.js framework (apache foundation) : https://cordova.apache.org/docs/en/latest/guide/cli/index.html it should be self explanatory from here the fork you link a one year old fork of a fork, I'm pretty sure it's not supported by emby.media (but I may be wrong), anyway the android client (2.9.... is not available as source here ; https://github.com/MediaBrowser and that looks like the "official" git) and I'm pretty sure you won't find the source as it's their protection on how to get you to buy the unlocked version :3

Jdiesel 1431 Posted August 22, 2017 Posted August 22, 2017 I find it kind of funny after viewing his Github forks that he even bothers coming here looking for support on how to compile the apps. I won't link to the comments as I don't want to support this activity but he goes on bashing Emby for implementing Premiere features and making apps closed source but yet comes to the Emby forums looking for support on how to do so.
