I have noticed that when using the identify function for music the images are not populating in the search result. This makes selecting the correct result difficult as there are often multiple options. For example, the artist Adele fails to pull the metadata automatically and when searching for Adele using the Identify feature the results are as shown below. Four results are returned with the correct on being the third option however there is no way of knowing this unless your try them all. Once correctly selected the metadata  and images are pulled correctly.

My temporary work around has been copying the Music Brainz ID from the Music Brainz website into the relevant Emby field. This is also the case for albums.

I had inquired about this with Luke a few months ago. This is due to the metadata not being available with the search provider (he phrased it much better) and he had mentioned there may be something in the future that could be done, but it wasn’t a bug.

The music brainz search api responses do not include images, so that is why that's happening.

Follow up question, when identifying an album is it possible to also include the artist in the search as well as the album title? It is almost impossible to find the correct album for albums with common names when you can't see the image cover.

@@Jdiesel, you're saying that when searching for albums, you want to see the artist name?

Yes it would be very helpful to include both the artist and album name in the search results for the album

yes it's a good idea, thanks.
