Episode showing up in the wrong season

I just found an episode from season 22 that is being displayed both in its correct location as well as in season 5 as episode  0...

That particular file is at tv/the simpsons/season 22/21 500 keys.avi (paths match for both locations in the emby library)

Have you tried a different naming convention for that file? Yours seems to be a proper way of naming but its not one of the more common ways.

I would definitely give The Simpsons - S22E21 - 500 Keys.avi a try just for shits and giggles.

That may work.  It may also think that it is episodes 21 - 500...

If that doesn't work, try "Five Hundred Keys".

Why do you think it's showing up in the wrong season?

@@Luke... What do you mean why...

Look at the screenshots... It clearly is showing up in both s5 and s22... And as i said the file path for both entries is the same

Tv/the simpsons/season 22/21 500 keys.avi

Are you sure it's the same file? did you click on it from both places and look at the path to the media?

Yes... Thank you for treating me like an idiot...

It's not treating like an idiot.

We just need to be sure..

It could always be that people think it's the same. But they didn't open a particular file...

Notice in the screen shot with it in season 5 - it is identifying it as Episodes 0 through 21.

It is definitely a naming convention problem due to the name of the episode starting with a number.  Have you tried either of the suggestions above?

Ah yes Ebr is right, definitely naming convention. It is showing up in season 5 due to naming convention, and showing up in the other season due to it's physical presence in the season folder.

Fixed with a rename

Try running a library scan.

I’m sorry. I’m just always amazed at how rude the faceless internet masses can be even when your just trying to help.

@@Luke, sorry for being a bit of a dick. I was having a shitty day yesterday and took it out on you.

Its just that both questions had been answered by the original post :/

Luke and I are both guilty at times of blowing past information in a thread and then asking you what appears to be a stupid question (or a question maybe we even already asked).  We go through a lot of these posts every day and sometimes we move too quickly.  I'm sure that is frustrating as a user seeking help so we understand :).
