Version 3.2.27.0 - Samsung UN48J6200AFXZC

Heads up, 

 

After upgrading to Emby 3.2.27.0 (Windows), I can no longer view my library via DLNA. The content type folder is visible, but nothing after.

 

I tried:

 

1. Deleting and re-adding folders.

2. Delete and re-add entire library.

3. Restarting server

4. Shutdown server

5. Restarted actual physical server

6. Complete uninstall and re-install.

7. Double checked "Enable Dlna server" was checked.

 

I reverted back to 3.2.26.0 and disabled auto-update. Works again.

That's strange. I have a tizen unit for testing, it's working fine there.

I have a Samsung DLNA TV as well.  After upgrade to 3.2.29.0 I can no longer see any content in any of my libraries.

The Samsung sees the library structure, but shows all the tabs as empty.

The Embry Theater application on Windows see all the sites with all the content so the libraries are there and registered.

 

I have rescaned the library and restarted the server.

This was working under prior version of embry server.

I apologize for the typo.  The problem occurred in 3.2.30.  I have backed my server down to 3.2.26 and everything is working properly.

The problem started with the upgrade to 3.2.30.  Not sure if it also existed in 3.2.29

Yea a couple people have reported this but i have not been able to reproduce the problem, and i have a pretty large set of test devices.  I will keep testing. Thanks.

I can confirm this too, updated to 3.2.30.0 on openSUSE Leap 42.2 (42.3 repo not available ) and my Samsung TV is not longer able to play content. The emby server is listed as a valid source, libraries are listed but they appear  empty just like @@feltonw@verizon.net mentions..

 

I don't have the model at hand, but I think it doesn't run Tizen, but have to confirm.

I have a movie folder in Emby, and I was able to see those movies on my Samsung UE55KS9005 smartTV.

But now suddenly the movie folder appear empty on my TV, but I can still see it on my iPad, iPhone etc.

I did review but couldn't find anything obvious.I will have to take another look, perhaps reviewing the raw output from the server itself.
