bluc 21 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Hey all having trouble getting iso's to mount for external player in media browser theatre I have the iso section set to "mount" what else do I have to do? tmt5 opens but nothing happens. Using mb3 and media theatre alpha external player is tmt5 and virtual drive is "virtual clone drive" help appreciated.
Luke 42077 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 we're actually able to mount it without any software. it gets mounted to a temporary path and then that path gets passed to the external player. i haven't used tmt in a while but the first step in testing would be to try to play with the internal player just so that you can verify the mounting is working. 1
bluc 21 Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 yea works fine with internal player. But nothing happens with external player.
bluc 21 Posted February 26, 2014 Author Posted February 26, 2014 I have tried powerdvd as well still no joy program opens but nothing happens.
Rideauman 0 Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 I was having the same problem. I changed my virtual drive to Daemon Tools and now works great. Be sure that you are using the MCE component of TMT5 as your default external player.
bluc 21 Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 OK will give that a go tomorrow thanks Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
bluc 21 Posted March 2, 2014 Author Posted March 2, 2014 Rideauman are you thinking of media browser classic I installed daemon tool lite but there is no option to setup a virtual drive in media browser theatre, installing dtl made no difference.
Xzener 729 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Just tested 3D Bluray ISO playback with MBT using TMT5. Works perfect here. Make sure, in the external player settings, ISO Support = Mount. Originally, mine was set to "pass to player" which would open TMT5, but it would only sit at the drives selection screen.
bluc 21 Posted March 6, 2014 Author Posted March 6, 2014 Strange mine is set to mount but I don't think I have set my default drive in the player will try that tomorrow see if it works. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
