No longer able to zoom in iOS app

In previous versions of Emby for iOS, specifically the iPad app, you should switch between the Emby media controls and the Apple media player controls. The Apple media player controls included a zoom button, so 4x3 content stored in a 16x9 frame could be zoomed to fill the screen of the iPad's 4x3 display. The current release of Emby for iOS seems to hide the Apple media controls, thus not allowing zooming of content.

 

For example, my Star Trek The Next Generation Blu-ray backups are 4x3 in a 16x9 video file:

Yea we're using our own controls. Adding our own zoom is a possibility for a future update. thanks.

Thank you for adding some aspect ratio controls to the video player in recent iOS updates. However, it looks like the Fill option is not working correctly. It only stretches the video vertically to the top and bottom, not the sides:

For now, it is not possible due to some bugs in the latest updates. Try the manual way hope that helps. Thou didn't try yet.
