revengineer 142 Posted February 2, 2018 Author Posted February 2, 2018 No dice with v3.2.70.7. Log attached. Log (7).txt
revengineer 142 Posted February 3, 2018 Author Posted February 3, 2018 Are there any changes in 3.2.70.9 to address this issue?
revengineer 142 Posted February 3, 2018 Author Posted February 3, 2018 Thanks, then I will skip test of this version. Can you provide any inside to where this stands? Is this narrowed down to offending function call yet? I compared with log from my desktop and it seems the server has trouble disposing sendsocket from the server ip.
revengineer 142 Posted February 7, 2018 Author Posted February 7, 2018 Is this still actively being worked?
revengineer 142 Posted February 7, 2018 Author Posted February 7, 2018 Thanks, Luke. Let me know if I can help out with additional testing to get to the bottom of this. The issue seems to be unique to a few configurations. I appreciate your efforts.
revengineer 142 Posted February 15, 2018 Author Posted February 15, 2018 Pinging again, has there been any movement on this?
Luke 42077 Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 I haven't had a chance to come back to this, sorry.
revengineer 142 Posted March 4, 2018 Author Posted March 4, 2018 Is there any chance we can make some progress on this?
revengineer 142 Posted March 5, 2018 Author Posted March 5, 2018 Log from v3.3.1.0 attached. I don't think anything has changed in the logs. Were any changes made to the code to address this issue? server-63655785762.txt
Luke 42077 Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 No, but the beta has some. it's not really a fix but if you have the dlna features and automatic port mapper disabled then the component that is stalling in your logs will never be started.
revengineer 142 Posted March 6, 2018 Author Posted March 6, 2018 (edited) Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I tried v3.3.1.1 and this workaround works indeed! When can we get this into the stable channel? Yesterday? :-) If you have a desire to fix the DLNA issue in the future, I will be happy to assist. However, since I do not use this feature or the port mapper, my immediate issues are solved. Edited March 6, 2018 by revengineer
revengineer 142 Posted March 9, 2018 Author Posted March 9, 2018 @Luke: Just checking that you got my response that this is working.
Luke 42077 Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 Yes, thank you for the feedback and help testing.
revengineer 142 Posted March 27, 2018 Author Posted March 27, 2018 Since there is now talk about slowing down the releases, I wanted to check whether this fix will make it into the next stable release. Thanks.
revengineer 142 Posted March 27, 2018 Author Posted March 27, 2018 Excellent, thank you. Sorry about being paranoid. :-)
