Turning off "autoplay" on pictures

Hi

 

Is there a way to turn of the autoplay on pictures?

 

Sometimes i like to look through my pictures on my android tablet, and then see the one i press on on my tv with chromecast.

When i press a picture, the autoplay starts.

When it comes to a short movie (mp4) it fails to autoplay this file. And sometimes i only hear the sound from the movie, and the pictures are stil autoplaying.

 

I have no problem playing mkv movies.

Hi again.

 

Try to explain:

Today i started Emby on my pc. Yesterday was on my android tablet, but same problem.

Opened pictures, selected a folder.

Found a picture before a small mp4 movie.

Clicked on the picture, it shows for 10 sec, and then the next picture is the movie. It only shows the tumb, but no sound or movie.

On the tumb there is a small movie icon the upper right corner. If i press the movie icon it plays fine.

Ok this is by design. Another user suggested that as part of the slideshow, we should show the thumbnail from videos that are also in the folder.

 

Ideally, the slideshow should probably play the video instead but we haven't built that ability just yet.

In the TV apps you can hit the pause button...

I dont have a smart tv and wouldn't use it for browsing pics if I did. Im almost exclusively android mobile :/

 

Is this just not available to the web/Android apps? Just not yet, or intended?

When you click a photo in the app it will auto-advance every 12-15 seconds. There is currently no way to stop this but it's something we can look at for a future update. Thanks !

I wanted to put some mangas to read on Emby. But I need a way to stop the autoplay, be able to zoom the images and also change the images clicking on left and right arrow keys.
